Getting involved is an excellent way to give back to your profession while interacting and networking with fellow professionals. It can also open doors for new experiences that may not be offered as part of your current job responsibilities. In addition to attending chapter events, there are many ways to increase your involvement in PRSA:
If you're not yet a member of PRSA, simply getting involved by being an active member is a great place to start! PRSA members receive access to professional events, networking, job boards, the latest in PR news and more. Learn how to become a member.
Headed by board members, committees are formed to support particular events or chapter functions. Current committees include: Publicity, Programming, Membership, Communications and Accreditation. Time commitments vary by committee. See a list of committee responsibilities.
Board of Directors
As the leadership body of the chapter, board members focus on specific aspects of leading the chapter. Positions include President, President-Elect, Immediate Past President, Secretary, Treasurer, Directors and Assembly Delegates. If you are interested in being considered for a future board position, please contact our current chapter president Nicole Onesti.
If you are interested in joining a committee, please contact the corresponding co-chairs. See this year's board members and committee chairs/co-chairs.
