For the last few months, much of the work PR and communications pros have been doing is in reaction and response to the various crises that have arisen in 2020. That is important work, to be sure; yet the heart of our profession is storytelling, in both good times and tough ones. And the Green Bay Packers put that storytelling talent on full display this spring.

As part of the organization’s centennial celebration, the Packers produced a 10-part documentary (aptly named “Legacy”) that chronicled its history from the earliest days of 1919 through its 100th season. If you haven’t seen it yet (and what are you waiting for?!), you can watch it on Packers.com, Amazon Fire, Apple TV and Roku.

While few organizations will be able to tackle a project of this scope, every organization has a story – including yours. Now, two members of the Packers’ PR team will take us behind the scenes of the “Legacy” documentary’s creation and share insights that you can use to bring your organization’s tales to life.

How do you even begin digging into the past? What resources will you need to produce quality pieces? Where are the right places and spaces to leverage your stories? When is the right time to spotlight them?

Learn all this and much more by joining us virtually over your lunch hour on Tuesday, August 25!
