Meet Tricia Garrison, our 2017 Communicator of the Year

Tricia Garrison

Tricia is responsible for community outreach, local government relations, media relations and educational programming at NEW Water in Green Bay. Over the last year and a half, she's been working to communicate details of the construction of R2E2 (Resource Recovery and Electrical Energy), a new waste water treatment facility designed to take Green Bay from simply treating water to recovering it and turning it into something of value.

Tricia developed and implemented strategic communication plans for a variety of stakeholders including customers, facility neighbors, the public and the media. During this time, she also conducted numerous neighborhood meetings, media briefings and public open houses. Despite the many challenges, the result has been a positive media and customer response without much controversy regarding the project. Because of her hard work on this project, Tricia will be recognized as PRSA Northeast Wisconsin's 2017 Communicator of the Year!

Help us Celebrate!

Join us Tuesday, Nov. 14, for a presentation of all PRemier Awards, plus a Q&A with Tricia.
